The huge full harvest moon this evening reminded me of something I've wanted to comment on: the daytime moon. It looks odd to me, out of place. It reminds me of lots of scifi artwork depicting skies with many moons or big gas giants hanging in blue skies over an alien scene. It's a definite reminder that we're on a planet.
